Obituary for Ann Marie (Ligi) Webb
Ann Marie (Ligi) Webb, age 85, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late George Webb passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Webb was born September 9, 1935 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Amerigo and Josephine (Lupini) Ligi.

A long time Stratford resident, Ann Marie was retired from the Human Resource Department of Emson Research. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Peace Church, Stratford. She was a graduate of Jessup High School, (Jessup, Pennsylvania) where she was a member of the Honor Society and a cheer leader. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Gerald Webb, four grandchildren, Brian, James, Katherine and Matthew Webb and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, George Webb.

Friends may visit with the family Friday, December 4, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, CT. Face masks and social distancing are required.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Father Nicholas Pavia will follow in Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Road, Stratford.

Interment in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Montdale, PA., is scheduled for Monday December 7, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Saint Jude’s children hospital.
