Serving Our Community Since 1951Ann, as most of her friends called her, was retired from Warnaco Industries. She was a very lively and gracious person. With a smile, she was always on the go and always willing to help others out, whether it was babysitting her niece and nephews or volunteering at St. James Church. She was always ready to get involved.
Ann, in her younger years, was a world traveler visiting countries all around the world. Her passport boasts locations such as Russia, China, Hungary, Ireland, Brazil and Japan to name a few.
As a teen and young woman, Ann was an accomplished figure roller skater and traveled all around the U.S. for competition. She also loved Duck Pin Bowling earning many awards with her team. She was an avid Mets fan and loved her UCONN HUSKY Basketball teams, especially the Woman's Team.
Ann is survived by her brother Edward Samuleman; her niece Christine MacFayden and her husband John and their children, Patrick, Joseph and Kaitlyn; her nephew Michael Samuleman and his wife Marie and their son James and her nieces Deann Uberti and her daughters, Destany and Bella.
She will be so greatly missed by all of us and we cannot fail to mention a few of her lifelong friends, Terry Bruno, Rita Horcharik and Ann Lombard who all held a special place in Ann's heart.
Ann will also be sorely missed by her furry companion, Smokey who comforted her till the end.
She was predeceased by her great nieces, Arianna Uberti.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the William R.
