Obituary for Arlene (Brooks) Peters
Arlene (Brooks) Peters, 83, of Stratford, the beloved wife of Frank Peters Jr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Saint Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport.
Mrs. Peters was born June 19, 1938 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Harvey and Genevieve (Benham) Brooks Sr. and had been a lifelong area resident. She was also predeceased by her brother Harvey Brooks Jr.
Arlene retired from Sikorsky Aircraft in 2003 as a Foreman of the electrical department for over 30 years. She enjoyed completing the perfect colorful puzzle, solving even the toughest of clues in a crossword puzzle, watching murder mysteries, over-cooking for family holiday meals, sharing her wisdom to those seeking her advice, she cared not only for her loving family but those without. A dedicated philanthropist who donated to countless charities. She never missed an opportunity to share their winnings from a lucky night out at Foxwoods with her husband. Arlene’s family will keep her forever in their heart
In addition to her adoring husband, she is survived by her two children, Donna McDonald and her husband Ed and Frank Peters III; four grandchildren, Michael Miklos and his wife Carrie, Missy Wills and her fiancé Owen, Fred Wills and his wife Christina, and Daniel Wills and his wife Lindsey; four great-grandchildren, Destiney, Mikey, Cole and Paige and several nieces and nephews.
