Obituary for Arline Liscinsky
Arline H. Liscinsky Stratford- Arline H. Liscinsky, beloved wife of Steve T. Liscinsky, of Stratford, CT for the past 64 years, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2012, while at Glen Hill Care and Rehabilitation in Danbury. She was 85. Arline was born on Oct 29, 1926 in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Wallace and Bertha Thompson. She was a Stratford resident for most of her life, where she raised her family. She is predeceased by her sister, Mildred, and two brothers; Wallace and Donald. Besides her husband, she is survived by her brother, Jack Thompson of West Virginia; her four children, Wayne Liscinsky and his wife, Debbie, of New Milford, Sheryl Buckingham and her husband, Michael, of Saratoga Springs, NY, Darlene Dunn of Watertown, CT, and Father Steven Liscinsky of New Hampshire. She is blessed with eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited for calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct 15 at William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street in Stratford. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 16, at 9:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home followed by Mass where her son, Father Steven Liscinsky, will be the main Celebrant at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark Church, Stratford. Internment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The American Heart Association is suggested.
