Obituary for Betsy (Lee) Koetsch
Betsy (Lee) Koetsch, age 69 of Stratford, beloved wife of Bernard E. Koetsch, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family. Betsy was born in Bridgeport, March 16, 1954, daughter of the late William and Shirley (Potter) Lee and had been a lifelong area resident.
Betsy was a retired nurse and a friend of Bill W. She enjoyed knitting, bird watching, camping and spending time with her husband Bernie.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her brother Brian Lee of Saucon Valley, PA; nephew, Andrew; niece, Samantha, and a cousin, Sandi Pepin.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service officiated by the Reverend Ed Rawls on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the First Congregational Church Stratford, 2301 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615.
Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824.
Friends may visit with her family Friday before service time in the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Connecticut Audubon Society, ctaudubon.org.
