Obituary for Brad Michael Redmond
Brad Michael Redmond, age 57, of Stratford, beloved husband of Suzanne (Radziszewski) Redmond passed away Monday, August 29, 2016.
Mr. Redmond was born June 22, 1959 in Bridgeport, son of the late George and Mildred (Schmidlin) Redmond and had been a life time area resident.
Brad was an avid fisherman and camper, loved his football especially the Oakland Raiders, UCONN Basketball and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his nine siblings, Maureen DeStefano and her husband Ralph, Kathleen Wendell and her husband Robert, Jacqueline DeStefano, Patricia Redmond, Shirley Redmond, Jon Redmond and his wife Debbie, Kenneth Redmond and his wife Nanci, Karen Rodriguez and her husband Mike, John Schmidlin and his wife Cynthia; his mother-in-law, Mary Radziszewski; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Redmond and Claire Zoghb and her husband Nick; a brother-in-law, Walter Radziszewski Jr. and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Thomas and Kevin Redmond; father-in-law, Walter Radziszewski, Sr. and a brother-in-law, Joseph DeStefano.
Friends are invited to attend his funeral service officiated by Deacon Timothy Bolten on Friday Evening, September 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford CT. Friends may visit with his family Friday before service time from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private
