Obituary for Brian W. Blier
Brian Wilfred Blier, age 54, of Stratford passed away suddenly on April 8, 2023. Brian was born April 14, 1968, in Bridgeport, son of Margaret (Edwards) Blier and Armand Blier and was a lifelong area resident.
Brian was a jack of all trades and enjoyed helping his family and friends with his skills. Everyone that he helped remembered him always going above and beyond to do a job well. He was a master electrician and was part of the professional crew at All-Brite Electric where he led and managed multiple electrical jobs. When not working hard, Brian’s greatest joy was his three children.
He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His love for the outdoors included sailing with his buddies, and even Ice Sailing in the winter. He grew up fishing on the shore of Stratford and continued to do that with his family and friends. His big smile and warm heart will be remembered by all that had the privilege of knowing him.
Survivors in addition to his mother and father include his three children, Zachary Blier, Haley Blier and Heather Blier; two brothers, Mark Dwinells and his wife Karen and Matthew Dwinells and his wife Li, his good friend and constant companion Michelle Kondor and other extended family.
He was predeceased by a brother, David Blier.
Friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, May 5th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. by meeting directly at Riverside Cemetery, 308 River Road, Shelton, CT., 06484.
