Obituary for Charles Tesla
Charles Tesla, age 66 of Stratford passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Charlie was born July 23, 1956, in Bridgeport, CT. He was the son of the late Elmer and Jane (Grich) Tesla and had been a lifelong area resident.
Charlie was retired from Shoprite Supermarket. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as a fan of the NY Giants, NY Yankees and NASCAR racing. He enjoyed spending time at Bonds Dock feeding the pigeons and fishing with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his two daughters, Sarah Tesla and Amanda Smith and husband Eddie; three siblings Thomas Tesla and wife Kathy, Stephen Tesla and wife Mary and Janet Nemetz and husband Martin; three grandchildren, Avianna, Aaleyah and Jayden; his former wife, Lorraine (Penny) Tesla and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his service on Saturday June 3, 2023, from 1pm-3pm in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Where a brief funeral service will be held at 2:30pm. Interment will be private.
