Obituary for Chester Broadbent
Chester Broadbent, age 54, of Stratford, beloved husband of Wendy (Gillespy) Broadbent, passed away July 15, 2016 in Bridgeport Manor. He was born August 16, 1961 in Bridgeport, son of the late Hal E. and Mary (Gabowski) Broadbent.
Chester worked for the Board of Education at Madison Middle School in Trumbull.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his four sons, Jason Broadbent of Milford, Todd Lee of South Carolina, Joseph Broadbent of Meriden and David Broadbent of Stratford and a daughter Brenda Broadbent of Stratford; five brothers, Hal, Robert, Tommy and Jesse all of Virginia and Edward of West Haven; a sister, Mary Houser of Ohio and one grandson Michael Broadbent.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in their home on 531 Sedgewick Avenue, Stratford, CT. Interment will be private.
