Obituary for Christine (Volikas) Barr
Christine Jean (Volikas) Barr, age 58 passed away suddenly Friday, January 1, 2021. Christine was born July 28, 1962 in Derby, daughter of Marilyn (Morrow) Volikas and James Ward and had been a lifetime area resident.
Christine loved her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She also loved her dogs Rebel and Hailey. She loved football and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
She will be greatly missed by her family!
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children Michael ( Bernadette) Volikas, Justine Marcoux, Shane Oliver, John Oliver; two grandchildren, Christopher and Jocelynn Volikas; siblings Cheryl Ziegler, Betty Burbank, Josephine Merlo and Raymond Volikas.
She also leaves behind her devoted nephew Justin Lapis who helped care for her and many other nieces snd nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Victor Volikas, James Volikas and George Schwab.
Due to Covid health concerns, all services will be private.
