Be the first to share your favorite memory, photo or story of Clara. This memorial page is dedicated for family, friends and future generations to celebrate the life of their loved one.
We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
Clara was employed by Manny, Maxwell & Moore and, later in life, enjoyed being a homemaker. She was an amazing cook who loved good food and took great pleasure in cooking and baking and teaching family and friends her Italian recipes. Always helping others, Clara would prepare and bring care packages of food to people in need. She enjoyed Sunday dinners and continued the tradition through recent years. Traveling was another enjoyment for Clara. She vacationed in many places including Europe and Bermuda.
Clara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her three loving children, James Juliano and his wife Nancy of Newtown, Theresa Juliano, and Mark Juliano, both of Stratford; two beloved granddaughters, Chelsea Juliano and Lisa Lekkas and her husband Angelo; many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Benjamin, Louis, Michael, and Adolf Sorrentino; and sister, Lena (Sorrentino) Salerno.
Per Clara’s wishes, all services will be private.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bridgeport Hospital and The Connecticut Hospice for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make a donation to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
