Obituary for Clifford T. Bunting
Clifford T. Bunting, age 73, of Stratford, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 following complications from back surgery. Mr. Bunting was born April 25, 1948 in Bridgeport, son of the late Thomas C. and Matilda (Terifay) Bunting.
Cliff was a lifelong resident of the Lordship section of Stratford. He was a graduate of Stratford High School Class of 1966 and Colby College. Cliff had many diverse interests including writing and sports, especially golf. Cliff cherished his family and dear lifelong friends with whom he shared many heartfelt experiences. He will most be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, friend and neighbor who always had a smile, a kind word, and generous spirit for anyone lucky enough to have known him.
He is survived by his brother Craig Bunting, sister-in-law Ann Burke-Bunting, and his niece Jillian Bunting and her family, as well as several cousins.
A memorial service will be announced later in the spring.
