Obituary for Daniel J. Elliott
Daniel J. Elliott, age 72, of Stratford, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in The West Haven VA Hospital. Mr. Elliott was born July 12, 1948 in Bridgeport, son of the late George and Adeline (Dinan) Elliott.

Dan was a retired VA Police officer and a United States Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a military history buff and enjoyed tracing his family's ancestry. He was a member of Stratford’s Raymond Goldbach VFW Post 9460. He also enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include his son, Daniel D. Elliott of New Windsor, NY and his brother, James Elliott of New City, NY and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his two brothers, George Elliott and his twin brother, William Elliott.

Friends are invited to attend his funeral with Military Honors on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT. Face masks and social distancing are required.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the West Haven VA, 950 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516.
