Obituary for David Allen Duggan
David Allen Duggan, age 72, of Shelton, beloved son of Gloria (Allen) Duggan and the late Simon J. Duggan, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. David was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Bunnell High School in 1968, proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was employed for 37 years with United Illuminating.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind cousins Connie Schwarz of Shelton, Bill Duggan of Seymour and Mickey Thrower of California.
Services will be private and the arrangements have been entrusted to the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615. For those who desire, donations may be made in David’s memory to Sterling House Community Center, 2283 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615 or Stratford Historical Society, 967 Academy Hill, Stratford, CT 06615.
