Obituary for David O'Neil
O'NEIL - David O'Neil, age 56, of Stratford, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Stratford. He was born in Bridgeport, October 25, 1959, son of the late George and Elaine Madeline (Oakley) O'Neil and had been a life time area resident.
David was a retired retail sales clerk having worked in many capacities for various stores. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved watching his Mets, Jets, Bruins and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a voracious reader, loved the ocean, all animals, good food, all types of literature, music and especially Rod Stewart.
Survivors include his sister, Sharon Wasik and her husband Henry of Santa Rosa; three nephews, Christopher, Brian and Daniel Wasik and several cousins.
He will be also be sorely missed by his three cats;Topher, Bri-Bri and Miko
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. by meeting directly at Saint James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford Interment will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
