Obituary for Dawn (Warner) Atanasoff
Dawn Elizabeth (Warner) Atanasoff, age 67, of Stratford, beloved wife of Lee Atanasoff passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Mrs. Atanasoff was born April 7, 1950 in Bridgeport daughter of the late Melvin and Elva (Dunn) Warner and had been a life time area resident.
Dawn was a graduate of Bunnell High School, and loved spending quality time with her family. She was a devoted wife, a kind and generous mother and a proud loving grandmother. Dawn had a passion for southwestern design, enjoyed listening to country music and spent hours reading in her rocking chair. She also enjoyed antique shopping, fishing, crocheting and vacationing at her mountain side home in Vermont. Her warm heart and generous nature will live on in all those who knew and loved her.Â
Survivors in addition to her husband include her three children, Candis, Tanya and Shawn Atanasoff; three siblings, Joy, Jill and Barry; five grandchildren, Dejah, Shyann and Sophie Latham and Charlee and Emiko Case and many nieces and nephews. Â
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. by meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane.
Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Stratford.
