Obituary for Duane Jeroyd Looney
Duane Jeroyd Looney, age 56, of Stratford, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. Mr. Looney was born March 2, 1965 in Bridgeport, beloved son of Donald Looney, Sr. and the late Rose (Smith) Looney.
Duane was a lifelong area resident and a 1983 graduate of Stratford High School. He was employed by Arcade Metals in Bridgeport as a Tool & Dye Maker. A motorcycle enthusiast, Duane enjoyed many days riding his prized, green Harley.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife Carla Boone-Looney; his sons, Darrius and Donovan Looney; his brothers and sisters, Douglas Looney, Lydia Cain, Donna Looney, Dean Looney and Donald Looney, Jr.; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Face masks will be required.
