Serving Our Community Since 1951Mrs. Miller was born April 10, 1934 in Laurel Fork, VA, daughter of the late Robert Rush and Trudy (Quesenberry) Dalton and had been a longtime area resident.Â
Kay was a retired waitress who worked for many years at the Galaxy Diner and Town & Country Diner. She enjoyed antiquing, tag sales, and walks along the beach of her previous residence in Lordship, Stratford. Most importantly, she loved to spend time and catch up with her ever-growing family.Â
Survivors include her three sons, William Soderberg and wife Licia of Derby, Dean Soderberg and wife Michelle, and Roy Dalton; siblings, Georgia Kimble and husband Donald, Thomas R. Dalton and wife Kathy, Donald A. Dalton and wife Karleen, and Charles O. Dalton; seven grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Jenna, Dana, Sean, Ryan and John Soderberg; eight great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Claudine Dalton Mayes and brothers, Robert B. Dalton, Melvin R. Dalton, and Carl V. Dalton.Â
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service officiated by Deacon John Piatak on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford.
Interment will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery.Â
Friends may visit with her family Wednesday morning before service time from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.Â
