Obituary for Edward Damian Burns
Edward Damian Burns, age 61, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford. Ed was born January 18, 1961, in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late John and Genevieve (Crowe) Burns.
He was a retired cabdriver in New York City and was an avid NY Knicks, NY Mets and Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved being with his family and was very protective and loving. Eddie was a devoted sober selfless man and helped many people and never expected anything in return. He had a sense of humor and always made people laugh. He always had a smile on his face and was always happy to see us. My brother Edward will be missed and remembered in our hearts.
He is survived by his siblings, Kathleen Burns, John Burns, Patrick Burns, Robert Burns and his wife Micheline and Susan Burns.
He was predeceased by two siblings, Predeceased siblings, Jean Marie Burns, Joseph Wyley and Thomas Hart.
