Serving Our Community Since 1951Edward Heberger, age 60 of West Haven, passed away July 27, 2023. Ned was born Dec 25, 1962, in Bridgeport CT., son of the late Richard Heberger Sr and Geralda (Reilly)Heberger.
He had a quick wit, a great sense of humor and a mischievous spirit. He loved music, playing drums, going to concerts and watching the New York Giants play football. Ned spent many years playing in local bands like The Alan Parks Project, The Zoo and The Lookout. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his son Richard Heberger brothers, Arthur Heberger (Lisa) and Richard Heberger Jr.; sisters, Mary Heberger and Janice Heberger; former wife Mary Lou Scofield Heberger; former wife and good friend Lynn Walsh; nieces, Karissa Heberger Swift (Kevin), Alyssa Heberger and Alaina Heberger, nephew Spencer Heberger; great niece Sophia and great nephew Camren.
Friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday August 4, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford.
Friends may visit with his family before service time from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
