Obituary for Elizabeth Snow Paoletta
Elizabeth Snow Paoletta, age 56, lifelong resident of Stratford, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Liz was born on October 20, 1956 to William and Margaret Snow. She grew up with her sisters and brother Peggy, Richard, Susan and Eleanor. She graduated from Bunnell in 1974 and in 1980 married the love of her life, Hugh Paoletta. In addition to raising a family, Liz worked at Howard Johnson’s and Engineered Solutions. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, friend, neighbor, cook and person. She will forever be missed by Hugh, their children Sarah and Matthew and their respective partners Christine and Danielle, her grandson Jack, her “BF” Kathy, the entire Snow/Paoletta “clan,” Team Liz and every other person she has touched along the way. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 7:30 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Swim Across the Sound, c/o St. Vincent’s M.C.
