Obituary for Ethel (Catlin) DeChario
Ethel (Catlin) DeChario, 92, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Nicholas DeChario passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, in Griffin Hospital, Derby.
Mrs. DeChario was born March 27, 1930, in Shelton, daughter of the late George and Isabel (Main) Catlin and had been a lifelong area resident.
She was a retired office manager for the North Haven Blue Cross Blue Shield office. She was an avid volunteer for the Summerfield Methodist Church and enjoyed shopping, watching Fox News and her beloved UCONN Girls Basketball.
Survivors include his niece Henrietta Tracz and her husband Robert Sickinger and cousins, Marian Main and Daphne Main.
She was predeceased by a cousin, William Butler.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service celebrated by Deacon John Piatak on Monday April 3, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford.
Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday before service time from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
