Obituary for Garry James Bouchard, Sr.
Garry J. Bouchard Sr., age 71 of Stratford, CT entered peacefully into eternal rest on June 1, 2016 in St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury with his loving family by his side.

Garry was born June 2, 1944 in Burlington, Vermont, son of the late Richard and Ruth (McGrath) Bouchard.

Garry worked as a Material Manger at Sikorsky Aircraft for 41 years and was an avid Yankee and Giants Fan.

He is survived by his loving and devoted fiancé Gail M. Koether of 27 years; son Garry Bouchard, Jr and his fiancé Amy Carzoo of Waterford; daughter, Lori Martino of Naugatuck; his beloved grandchildren, Melissa, Samantha, Garry III and Vincent as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Richard Bouchard, Jr and Patricia Collins.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Friday June 10, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Saint James Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford.

A procession through Garry's hometown of Lordship by the Seawall will follow with the views he loved.

There will be no calling hours.

Memorial Donations in the Memory of Garry may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation at alzfdn.org or The American Cancer Society. We would like to give thanks to the VITAS Hospice Wing at St Mary's Hospital for all of their compassion and support.
