Obituary for Gloria T Wagner
- Gloria (McDonald) Wagner, age 83, beloved wife of Joseph P Wagner of West Cornwall passed away peacefully in her sleep January 27, 2013 in Greer Village, Canaan. Gloria was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth McDonald. She resided in Stratford most of her life before moving to Shelton and then to W. Cornwall four years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and CCD Instructor. She was also a volunteer at St. Vincent Medical Center. In addition to Joe she is survived by her daughter Joy Marino and her husband Mark; two grandsons Danny and Sam Marino all of West Cornwall. Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday February 1, 2013 at 9:30 am from the William McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford and at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Grace Church for a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2075 Silas Deane Hwy., Suite 100, Rocky Hill, Connecticut 06067.
