Obituary for Grace Toth
Grace Toth, age 95 of Stratford, passed away peacefully September 3, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Hungary, Grace was a long time area resident. She was retired from Stop & Shop in the Trumbull and Newtown stores and worked many years as a housekeeper for several families. Grace loved to work in her gardens, cook traditional Hungarian food and travel to places like Scotland, France and Hungary to visit with family. Survivors include two grandsons Attila Lengyel and his wife Bonnie, Miki Lengyel and his wife Danielle; two great grandsons Jason and Justin Lengyel, all of Stratford; one son-in-law Szabolcs Lengyel of Monroe; one sister and many nieces and nephews in Hungary. She is predeceased by her daughter Gizella Lengyel. Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 9 am from the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford and at 10 am in St. Emery Church, 838 Kings Highway, Fairfield. Visitation will be Monday, September 8, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm in the funeral home.
