Serving Our Community Since 1951Gus was a retired foreman for Polycast Manufacturing and a graduate of Quindio University. He was an avid soccer fan, loved to read and spend time at the beach, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.Â
Survivors include his two sons, James Ocampo and his wife Brooke and Andrew Ocampo and his wife Michelle; one daughter, Kathleen Fuchs and her husband, Jeffrey; five grandchildren, Gillian and Alyssa Fuchs and James Cash, Charles and Reagan Ocampo; four siblings, Marleny, Olga, Amparo and Hernando and many nieces and nephews.Â
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in Saint James Church, 2110 Main St, Stratford for a funeral mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Stratford.Â
Friends may visit with the family Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
