Obituary for Helen Patrica Marino
MARINO - Helen Patricia (Yenco) Marino, age 94, of Stratford beloved wife of the late William H. Marino, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in the Jewish Nursing Facility, Fairfield. Mrs. Marino was born October 5, 1920 in New Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Stephen and Susan (Thomas) Yenco and had been a Stratford resident since 1976. Retired from Fag Ball Bearing Manufacturing, Helen was a small woman with a big heart, she had a strong devotion to God and was a volunteer at Grace Vessells Church of Danbury. She loved exploring Connecticut and taking long drives with her sister, Mary. Survivors include her two God Children, Peter Galligan and Marianne Klein and many other adored nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters, Michael Yenco, Ann Manwaring and Mary Musbek. Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. (NEW MASS TIME) by meeting directly at St Benedict-Our Lady of Montserrat Church, 1 St Benedict Circle, Stamford, CT 06902. Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Stamford. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St, Stratford.
