Obituary for James A. Capuzziello
James A. Capuzziello, age 74, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Edith Marie Capuzziello, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Maefair Nursing Facility, Trumbull. Mr. Capuzziello was born May 22, 1942 in Bridgeport, son of the late Anthony and Ella (Plaski) Capuzziello and was a life time area resident.
He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and a retired maintenance worker. He was a member of Port 5 Naval Veterans Club, the Marine Corps League and the Huntington Volunteer Fire Department No. 3 and was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Teresa Capuzziello of Shelton and Michele Lane and her husband Jeff of Shelton; a step son, Thomas St. Cyr and his wife Kimberly of Stratford; his adored grandchildren, Ashley, Rebecca, Robert, Xavier, Hailey, Jasmine, James Jr., Seth and Samantha; and a great grandchild, Natalie.
He was predeceased by a son, James.
Friends are invited to attend his funeral service with military honors officiated by Deacon Timothy Bolton on Friday Evening, September 23, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford CT. Friends may visit with his family Friday before service time from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
