Obituary for James R. Morin
James R. Morin, age 91, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Charlotte K. (Taylor) Morin, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2022. James was born January 30, 1931 in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Leon Bert Morin Sr. and Eva Rose (Gerard) Morin and was a lifetime area resident.
James was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from Lacey Manufacturing. One of his greatest joys was taking long drives with his beloved dog, Mickey. Most of all, he cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. James will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, James R. Morin Jr. and his wife Debra and Robert T. Morin and his wife Bridget (Elaine); five grandchildren, Jessica Morin, Breanna Morin, Mandy Aliberti and her husband Jason, Tim Morin, Katie Morin and her partner Jason Ruddy; six great grandchildren, AJ, Max and Ben Aliberti, Perras, Patrick and Matthew Ruddy.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service celebrated by Deacon John Piatak, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. with military honors to follow in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615. Friends may visit with the family before service time from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to ASPCA, www.aspca.org.
