Obituary for John Bratz
John "Pepe" Bratz, age 58, of West Haven, beloved husband of 38 years and "childhood sweetheart" of the late Cheri Ann (Eannotti) Bratz, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 in New Haven. Mr. Bratz was born November 1, 1958 in Bridgeport, son of Patricia (Lynch) Bratz and the late Robert Bratz and had been a life time area resident.
John was the owner and operator of J & B Roofing in the 80’s and early 90’s. He enjoyed making people laugh with his outrageous stories. He was the life of the party where ever he went. He had the biggest heart and was willing to help anyone in need. He was truly one of a kind. His proudest accomplishments were his marriage to his wife Cheri of 38 years, his four children, and granddaughter Anya. Â
He was predeceased by his brother Bobby, and his sister Patty.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his children Anna, John, Anthony, and Gabrielle, granddaughter, Anya, Brother Kenny and Sister Maryann, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be announced.
