Obituary for Joseph Gerard DiPronio

Joseph Gerard DiPronio, age 83, of Stratford, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Bridgeport, CT. Mr. DiPronio was born in Bridgeport on April 6, 1941, son of the late Pasquale and Mary Battista DiPronio.

Joseph was an active member of St. Mark Church, serving as an altar server, Eucharistic Minister, CCD instructor, St. Mark's Men’s League, the men for Christ and served in the Ministry for the sick. He was also a volunteer with the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. Joe was a member of the Dresser Quarter Century Club with 46 years of service with Dresser Industries. Upon his retirement, he traveled with his good friends and especially loved Rome and Paris.

Survivors include his adored nephew and niece Wayne Robstock of Ridgefield and Jennifer Gutmann and her husband Karl of Cary, NC; a grandnephew Matthew Gutmann and grandniece Nicole Gutmann, as well as many cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his devoted sister Carmella Ann Robstock.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. by meeting directly at St. Mark's Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT 06614. Interment will follow in St Michael’s Cemetery Stratford.
