Obituary for Josephine Kozlowski
Josephine (Plessl) Kozlowski of Meriden, CT and previously of Southport, CT, beloved wife of the late Edward R. Kozlowski, entered eternal rest Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Midstate Medical Center, Meriden, CT. Mrs. Kozlowski was born November 13, 1926 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Franz and Josephine (Kalch) Plessl.Â
Jo was definitely a homebody, however, she did enjoy trips to the casino with her husband and spending time with her family.Â
She is survived by three children, Elizabeth (Betty) Stumbris and her husband Vincent of Stratford, Regina (Jeannie) Arcoma and her husband Peter of Seymour and Edward Kozlowski and his wife Michelle of Colchester, CT;Â six grandchildren, Steven Stumbris and his wife Margot, Michelle Glanville and her husband Terry, Amy Truman and her husband Jeremy, Peter Arcoma and his wife Lauren, Melissa Clark and her husband Stephen, and Joseph Arcoma and his fiancee Meagan Sanders; ten great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Simon, Olivia, Vincent, Max, Nathan, William, Luke, Reid and Charlotte; and several nieces. She is predeceased by her sister Christine Pichurski and brother Mike Plessl. Â
Friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615. Friends may visit with the family before service time from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Â
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Kozlowski may be made to The ALS Association, 4 Oxford Road 4E, Milford, CT 06460 or directly to Josephine’s granddaughter Amy Truman care of the funeral home.
