Obituary for June (Randall) Cullen
June (Randall) Cullen, age 78, of the Lordship section of Stratford, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Franklin and Amy (Allen) Randall, she was a lifelong Lordship resident.
Mrs. Cullen was a graduate of Stratford High School and was retired as a Secretary from Allied Signal Corporation (Avco-Lycoming). She was a member of the Lordship Community Church and the Lordship Fathers' Club. June's family was her life; she always looked forward to cooking and baking for Sunday family gatherings; loved sewing, knitting and crocheting; spending time with her granddaughter doing arts and crafts when she was growing up, most of all taking long walks on the beach with her daughter and grandchildren collecting seashells.
Survivors include her loving daughter and friend, Colleen Cullen of Milford; cherished grandchildren, Melissa Cullen and Lawrence Jones; great-granddaughter (who called her Gigi) Destiny Works; a loving sister Kay O'Hare and her husband John and a special niece Lisa Ferrara and her husband Larry. Her loving son Danny Patrick Cullen predeceased her.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, CT. Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. during calling hours in the funeral home officiated by the Reverend Joanne Choly. Interment will be private in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield, CT.
