Serving Our Community Since 1951Kevin was a truck driver by trade, he was an avid Washington Redskin fan, loved canoeing and camping and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his adored son, Kevin Redmond; ten siblings, Maureen DeStefano and her husband Ralph, Kathleen Wendell and her husband Robert, Jacqueline DeStefano, Patricia Redmond, Shirley Redmond, Jon Redmond and his wife Debbie, Kenneth Redmond and his wife Nanci, Brad Redmond and his wife Sue, Karen Rodriguez and her husband Mike, John Schmidlin and his wife Cynthia; one sister-in-law Nancy Redmond and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Thomas Redmond and a brother-in-law, Joseph DeStefano.
Friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. by meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave, Stratford. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St, Stratford.
