Obituary for Laura Ann Guckert
Laura Ann Guckert, beloved wife of Jack Guckert of Lordship passed away peacefully on January 22, 2013 in her home. Born in Laconia, NH to Wilfred and Genevieve Morrissette, Laura was the fifth of eight children. Laura was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. She has resided in Lordship for fifty five years. As a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother she loved to decorate, cook and create beautiful holiday and family events. Laura will be greatly missed by her daughters, Jill Ann Taylor, her husband Robert, and Jayne Laura Guckert all of Lordship, her son John F Guckert Jr. Esq. and his wife Jennifer of Watertown, NY. Laura was adored by her grandchildren and their spouses Robert and Laurie Taylor, Jennifer and Darin Horne, Megan and James Midgley, Kaitlyn and Chad Forsey, Daniel and BritaTaylor, Jake and Jordan Guckert, Jack Guckert and Jeffery Guckert, as well as twelve great grandchildren, her sister Genevieve Costello of Rye Beach, NH and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 am in the LDS Mormon Church, 30 Bonnie View Drive, Trumbull. Friends may call from 10 -11 in the Church. Interment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends are invited to sign her guest book at www.wrmcdonaldfuneralhome.com
