Obituary for Lillian Ruth (Renz) Schlump
Lillian Ruth (Renz) Schlump of Fayetteville, Arkansas and previously of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Donald Schlump, passed away November 4, 2021. Mrs. Schlump was born in Bridgeport, August 23, 1918, daughter of the late William and Lena (Schick) Renz and had been a lifelong Connecticut resident before her recent move to Arkansas.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Industrial Precision, Bridgeport. She was also a lifelong member of the Summerfield Methodist Church, Bridgeport, longtime member of the Stratford Rebekah Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and volunteered for decades, until 2010, at Bridgeport Hospital.
Survivors include her two sons, Donald Schlump and his wife Kathy of Fayetteville, AR, and Robert Schlump and his wife Marie of Prairie Grove, AR; granddaughter, Gretchen Schlump and her husband Jeff of Fayetteville, AR; great-granddaughters, Penelope Hunt and Ramona Hunt both of Fayetteville.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Mildred Renz and William Renz.
