Obituary for Lloyd Livingston Brown
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Bro. Lloyd Livingston Brown, age 79 passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Stratford. Mr. Brown was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica on July 2, 1940, son of the late Selvin Brown and Julia Slue and had been a long-time area resident, and a devoted member of Believers Faith Temple in Bridgeport, CT.
Brother Brown was a loving, humble, and compassionate man who truly loved serving the LORD. He was a retired auto mechanic and is survived by several children, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends.
He enjoyed the ocean and watching the boats come and go. His spiritual gift was contributing to others needs.
Whenever he enters the church, the members were always warmed by his pleasant smile but quiet demeanor. Brother Brown will always be remembered for his love. We were grateful and honored to have worshiped with him the Sunday before his departure from this world, we are deeply saddened to know his physical presence we will not enjoy anymore he will remain in our heart forever. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
Friends and family are invited to a funeral service officiated by Pastor Nigel Roache, on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Believer's Faith Temple, 1211 Howard Ave, Bridgeport, Connecticut 06605. Friends and family may gather before service time from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the church.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the church.
