Obituary for Margaret (Misko) Zboray
Margaret M. Zboray, age 94, beloved wife of the late Julius A. Zboray, of Woodbridge, passed away peacefully saying her rosary in her home on Monday, November 9, 2015. Born in Eynon, PA, July 23, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Duchek) Misko, Margaret married in 1945 and moved to Stratford where she resided for almost 70 years before moving to Woodbridge.
She was co-manager with her husband Julius of Homa's Refreshment Stand, Seaside Park, Bridgeport. She then worked as a cook for the University of Bridgeport from 1970 to 2005, retiring at age 84. Margaret also spent her free time volunteering at St. James Church.
Survivors include her devoted sons Bruce and Joanne Zboray of Trumbull, Richard and Margo Zboray of Stratford and Ronald and Mary Zboray of Pittsburg, PA; four beloved grandchildren Noelle, David, Megan and Patrick; one sister Alice Klapatch of Scranton, PA and one brother Robert Misko of Carbondale, PA.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's name may be made to Care of Our Fathers House at St. James Church, 2110 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615.
