Obituary for Marie H. (Albus) Varga
Marie Helene (Albus) Varga, age 86, of the Lordship section of Stratford, beloved wife of Albert Varga, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 in the Lord Chamberlain Nursing Facility, Stratford. Mrs. Varga was born July 10, 1929 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Kistner) Albus had been a long time Lordship resident.
Marie was a graduate of Harding High School, was retired from the Payroll Department of AVCO Lycoming, was a member of the Our Lady of Peace Rosary Society, an avid bowler, loved to play cards and enjoyed cooking.
In addition to her beloved husband, Marie is survived by her son, Randall Varga of Shelton; her sister-in-law, Helen Kelly of New York and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Albus.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Reverend Nicholas Pavia on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church, Stratford. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning before Mass time from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the William R.
