Obituary for Marion Ann (Gallagher) Santo
Marion (Mema) Ann Santo, age 90, of Stratford CT, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family early Monday morning, March 23, 2020. She was born June 7, 1929, in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late James and Anna Gallagher.
Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband Andrew Santo, two loving children James Santo and Mary Santo Lee and her brother Robert Gallagher.
Marion was an active member of Holy Family Parish and a devote catholic. She was a long time quality control inspector at Orcomatic in Stratford, CT for over 30 years where she acquired some of her dearest friends. To family and friends Marion was one of the most selfless individuals who lived by the motto “if you give you shall receive.”
Marion was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She treasured her family and embraced each and every moment with them, there was no place she would rather be then spending time with her loved ones.
Marion is survived by her two daughters Anna Borisov (Robert), Joanne Santo, and son Andrew Santo (Melissa Bucciarelli). Additionally, she is survived by 7 grandchildren. Patsy Horan (Rebecca), Justin Santo (Heather), Michelle Hornak (Scott Makowski), Michael Hornak (Jessica Dattilo), Brittany Fleisch (Ian), Jillian Cleveland (Josh) and Alyssa Pagano; plus 13 great grandchildren (Alexandra, Scotty, Mickey, Abagail, Hadley, Harper, Ryan, Colt, Jaycee, Scarlett, Avery, Ian and Olivia) and many cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved and touched deeply. Marion will be missed and forever in our hearts.
Marion’s family will be holding a memorial to celebrate her amazing 90 years life at a later date.
