Obituary for Mary D. Bielecki
Mary D. (Hungerford) Bielecki, age 94, of Stratford, beloved wife of Chester L. Bielecki, passed away peacefully Friday, December 19, 2014 in the Lord Chamberlain Nursing Facility, Stratford. Mary was born in Bridgeport September 21, 1920 and was a lifelong area resident. She was a retired Probation Officer for the State of Connecticut, a proud United States World War II Navy veteran having served with the WAVES and a former Secretary to the late President Franklin D. Roosevelt. She will be deeply missed by her husband Chester and best friends Bill, Elaine and Tim. At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours and all services and burial are private.
