Obituary for Mary Alice (Wylie) Niebanck
Mary Alice (Wylie) Niebanck, age 76, of Stratford, beloved wife for 52 years of Charles F. Niebanck, passed away, Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Lord Chamberlain Nursing Facility, Stratford. Mrs. Niebanck was born January 5, 1940 in Paterson, NJ, daughter of the late Samuel and Mildred Alice (Morrison) Wylie and had been a long time Stratford resident.

Mary Alice was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a retired Executive Secretary for Sikorsky Aircraft. She loved to garden, travel with her husband and family from Hawaii to Ireland, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her adored grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her three children, Thomas Niebanck of Riverside, CA, Robert Niebanck and his wife Pamela of Milford and Laura Towne and her husband Peter of Stratford; four grandchildren, Bethany Niebanck, Bryan Niebanck, Samuel Towne and Jennifer Towne and several cousins.

Friends are invited to attend her funeral service officiated by the Pastor Simeon Law on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. by meeting directly at the Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main St., Stratford. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may visit with her family Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
