Obituary for Mary "Bernie" Riggott
Mary Bernadette “Bernie” (Confrey) Riggott, age 90, of Orange, CT, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 in The Elim Park Healthcare Center, Cheshire. Mrs. Riggott was born May 27, 1924 in New Haven, daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Confrey and had been a Connecticut resident and Florida resident for many years. She was a retired LPN and enjoyed working with her preschool children, knitting and was an avid reader. She was a member of Christ the Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Milford, CT. Survivors include her four daughters, Sharon Funaro and her husband Richard of Orange, CT, Susan Bucari and her husband Louis of Meriden, Mary Elizabeth Camerato of Hamden, CT and Barbara Jean Sweetman of Royal Palm Beach, FL; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a niece and nephew. She was predeceased by her husbands Conrad J. Tiedmann and Arnold Riggott. All services will be private.
