Obituary for Nora (Felicella) Odice
Nora (Felicella) Odice, age 95, of Stratford passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Odice was born in Bridgeport on November 17, 1919. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Imbimbo) Felicella. Nora was a life time area resident.
Nora enjoyed being a homemaker and loved all children. She cherished the time she spent with her family and was most happy being part of raising several generations. She was very proud of her World War II service as one of Rosie the Riveters.
Survivors include her devoted daughter, Jacqueline Diamond and her husband Frank of Stratford, son-in-law Richard Smith; four grand children, Barbara Vitka and her husband Stephen, Jill Russo, Tammy Ciuci and her husband Christopher, and Denise Lengyel and her husband Ryan; twelve great grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, Rachel, Brianna, Justin, Lauren, Jonathan, Danielle, Chase, Willow Ivy and Michael; a special niece, Ann Richard and her children, Melissa, Jessica and Seth; her brother, John Felicella and his wife Joann; her sister, Barbara McDougal; her sister-in-law, Stella Russo and many other nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John Odice, her beloved daughter Joan Smith; her brothers and sisters, Connie Molise and her husband Michael; Vincent Felicella and his wife Cora and their son Vinny Jr., Michael Russo and Sanita Capozzeillo.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may visit with the family before Mass time from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the William R.
