Obituary for Patricia (Doherty) Agresta
Patricia (Doherty) Agresta, age 67, of Derby and previously of Stratford, beloved wife of James Agresta, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Mrs. Agresta was born March 7, 1950 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Hoole) Doherty and had been a life time area resident.
A graduate of Stratford High School, Pat was retired from Yale University. She enjoyed sewing, volunteering with her husband at various functions, and spending time with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed her visits to Florida to visit her grandson and great grandchildren.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her daughter, Michelle Lawson; three grandchildren, James Outlaw and his wife Toni, Allison Lawson and Libby Lawson; three great grandchildren, Emma, Zoey and Colton Outlaw; four siblings, Mary Hildreth, Joann Cremin, Thomas and Joseph Doherty and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Father Thomas Lynch on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. by meeting directly in Saint James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford. Friends may visit with her family before Mass time from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the church. All other services and interment will be private.Â
