Obituary for Paul J. Troiano
Paul John Troiano, age 93, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Katherine “Kay” (Dunn) Troiano entered eternal life Thursday, April 25, 2014 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Troiano was born June 26, 1920 in Bridgeport, son of the late Samuel and Theresa (Daddona) Troiano and had been a lifetime area resident. He was a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a retired Sales Manager for John Hancock Insurance. Paul, an avid amateur artist and cook, also enjoyed golf, traveling with his wife and summer picnics with family and friends. In addition to his beloved Kay, he is survived by three sons, Paul J. Troiano and his wife Suzanne of Atlanta GA, Barry C. Troiano of Trumbull and Mark J. Troiano and his wife Judith of Cocoa Beach, FL; three grandsons, Trent S. Troiano, Justin M. Troiano and Ryan M. Troiano; two great-grandchildren, Trey S. Troiano and Brooklyn Troiano; a sister-in-law, Peggy Troiano and brother-in-law Charles Sutton and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Troiano and sister Rita Sutton. At the request of the family, all services will be private.
