Obituary for Paul John Jacobs III
Paul John Jacobs III, age 81 of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Mary (Spiro) Jacobs and Janet (Spitzer) Jacobs passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Saint Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Mr. Jacobs was born March 2, 1936 in Bridgeport, son of the late Paul and Anna (Canter) Jacobs III and had been a life time area resident. 

Paul was a retired machinist for AVCO, a graduate of Bassick High School, and a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He loved gardening, visiting the casinos, animals and the outdoors. He was a great neighbor and friend to all he met.  

Survivors include his four children, Paul Jacobs IV and his wife Carol, Elizabeth Ann Jacobs, Dave Jacobs and Donna DeSimone and her husband Angelo; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be announced.
