Obituary for Rhonda Anne Bondi
Rhonda Anne Bondi of Stratford, age 55, passed away unexpectantly on October 23, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital after a short illness.
Rhonda is survived by her brother James Bondi and his wife Sandra of Rocky Hill, sister Melissa Crofoot and her husband Warren of Seymour, and sister Lori Bondi and her partner Shaun Busk of Milford.
She is predeceased by her mother Carol Anne (Fattibene) Bondi, who recently passed away on October 6, her father Ronald Bondi, who passed away in 2005; a beloved aunt, Diane Fattibene, who passed away in 2017; and her two beloved cats, Carly and Scratchy.
Rhonda leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews, James and Alex Bondi and Rebecca and Brady Crofoot, as well as her Aunt Mary Lou Pison, cousins Eve Pison and Jerry Pison, and her lifelong friend Anna Ceste, as well as many other friends too numerous to mention.
Rhonda was born in Bridgeport Hospital on May 16, 1965 and lived most of her life in Stratford, with stints in East Haven, Seymour, Arizona, and Florida. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, and after high school worked in various roles and positions in the retail sector in the Stratford and Milford areas. Through her work, she made many lifelong friends to add to those from her childhood and high school days. Rhonda was very caring and outgoing with a lively personality, loved to have fun, and was always the life of the party and family gatherings. She was also an adventurous and restless soul, always finding new adventures, and making more friends. Rhonda seemed to know everyone in the Stratford area and will be greatly missed.
A service is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the William R. McDonald Funeral Home at 2591 Main Street in Stratford. Friends may visit with her family before the service time from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
