Obituary for Robert Bernard Waldo Sr.
Robert Bernard Waldo Sr., age 66, of Derby, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born September 9, 1954 in Bridgeport, son of the late Theodore and Ruth (Hofmiller) Waldo and had been a life time area resident.
Bob was retired roofer. He enjoyed playing poker, was an avid football fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his four children, Robert Waldo Jr., Jessica Waldo, Carly McDougal and Ranee Brewer; grandchildren, Alex, Arianna, Alana, Mason, Dylan, Bobby, Willow and Lucas; four brothers, Ken Waldo, Danny Waldo and Theodore Waldo and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Plude.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford.
Friends may visit with his family before service time from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, guests will be asked to wear masks and adhere to social distancing requirements.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford
