Obituary for Robert Pasmeg
Robert Pasmeg, age 77 of Stratford, beloved husband of Carol (Herthum) Pasmeg passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital Surrounded by his loving family. Bob, a life time area resident was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania November 12, 1939 and raised in Trumbull, CT.
Bob was a graduate of Syracuse University where he enjoyed many sports especially skiing. He spent the first twenty years of his career at Bridgeport Hospital in the Radiology Department followed by many more years in sales of Radiology equipment. He was a member of the Germania Schwaben Club and a life member of the East End Yacht Club where he held the position of Vice Commodore for two terms. He was an avid golfer, boater and fisherman. Â
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Philp Pasmeg and his wife Seri of Fairfield and Beth Smith and her husband Melvin of West Virginia; four grandchildren, Phillip, Parker, Peyton and Kelsea; two great-grandchildren, Serenity and Jaxon and extended family.
A Celebration of his life will be held on August 26, 2017 at 4:00 PM in the East End Yacht Club, 104 Bay St., Bridgeport, CT 06607.
